In this double lesson, the teacher showed me an A graded Folio and how it is presented. He explained different ways how we can present the finale product. The evaulation can be written, but the word limit is no more than 1500 words, or you can do a speech but it can't be no longer than 10 minutes. He handed out a thick booklets of the things we can include in our Folio. I highlighted all the main points and the things I will be including into my Folio. He also hand out few sheet of papers to get on with our Folio.

Today is the last Research Project lesson for Term 2. I spent this lesson checking my letter and doing a little bit of research. My topic is about online gaming, how it affect your school habits.

During the first week of school holidays, I've set myself up an experiment to collect information and analysing background information what I have already collected. For my experiment, I wanted to see what happens if you play games for the whole week and leave all your school work till last. From my one week experience, I found that leaving all your work till the last minute is not the best option. I also noticed that I've become fairly slack and not keen to do anything besides sitting on the computer and browse the web. Doing this experiment gave me heaps of ideas what to write in my folio and adding extra information that is relevant to the topic.
Playing too much games can also affect your health. During the one week, I was too focused on the game and forgot all about health. I've lost a few kilos and getting sick really often. I didn't do a lot of exercise and therefore I am unhealthy.

During the second week of the holidays, I decided to update my wikispaces. I did a bit of research for my background information and adding my proposal into the wikispaces. I also added in a journal and trying to keep it updated. I found a few articles that is relevant to the topic. I highlighted some of research processes to show that I have completed that task. I also tried finding information to answer my focus questions.

Today is the first day back from school and the first lesson of Research Project. I didn't do much this lesson due to half of the class that had an excursion. I spent this lesson continuing with my research for background information. I also asked the teacher for some pointers to improve my proposal. He explained to me different ways of doinng it and suggesting things to add into my proposal to make it more interesting.

During this double lesson, i continued doing my research for background information. I also tired fixing up my proposal and making it sound better. I did a few chanages such as the research question. I changed it from How does online gaming affect your school study at Woodville High School to How does online gaming affect your study habits at Woodville High School.
LETTER TO MR. TENGDAHL
Dear Mr. Tengdahl,
In this letter, I will be discussing my plans and process of work during the holidays. As I have missed out a few days of the second week of the new semester, I have manage to complete and caught up with my proposal, gather some background information and gaining knowledge about my specific topic.
I decided to focus my topic on online gaming, which is a topic I am interested in and I am myself is an online gamer. This topic will prove my ability to see how online gaming can affect your study habits. During the holiday, I have set up myself an experiment to see the difference between a person who play games for many hours and a person who play games for an hour or two a day. Due to the experience that I have as a gamer, I was keen on doing the experiment. I planned out for the first week of the holidays, from Monday to Wednesday, I will be playing games non stop and leaving my school work to the last minute. From Thursday to Sunday, I will be finishing off my school work before playing any games. As a result, finishing school work or anything important before playing games is a better solution.
On the second week of holidays, I will be gathering background information to answer the four focus questions that I have set to myself:
What is online gaming?
How does online gaming affect your studying? what are they?
Why is online gaming so addictive?
What are the benefits of online gaming?
I hope that at the end of the holidays, I have an understanding and an idea how I am going to present my research project and writing up my evaluation. I also hope that I get most of my work done and being a head before Term 3 starts.
